It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the passing of Professor Hu Biliang, a distinguished member of the AIT Alumni community and an accomplished economist. Professor Hu's remarkable contributions to academia, particularly in the fields of economics and international relations, leave an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.
Professor Hu completed his Master's degree in Human Settlements and Development Program at the Asian Institute of Technology in 1991. His subsequent roles as a research assistant and his leadership as the President of the AIT Alumni Association China Chapter since 2011 exemplify his enduring commitment to fostering academic and professional connections within our global network.
Professor Hu's sudden passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy as a passionate educator, an insightful economist, and a dedicated community leader will continue to inspire us all.
